A single drop of water fell into a puddle on the floor, creating an eerie echo through the halls as the two Scholars slowly made their way through the darkened hallways of the Eldieme Necropolis. Their passage made the candles ensconced in the walls flicker, casting distorted shadows as they wound their way through the subterranean passages.

Mirror to the SoulThe fountain mirror shone with clarity as Pit watched over Skyworld. As Palutena's bodyguard and the captain of her army, it was the young angel's responsibility to ensure that no harm came to the Goddess. There were times, of course, where Skyworld was threatened by outside forces, even in this time of relative peace, but those threats were dispatched with efficiency thanks to him and those under his command.  
    Of course, there were times when Pit wasn't quite as diligent as he should -- he once used the mirror to watch the Games on the surface, after all – but in the long run, his slacking off did prove valuable Mirror to the Soul

The Fire Within, Part 4While Sorai had a sizeable library of some of the rarer books that could be found in Agratana, my search was proving to be fruitless.   
I’m not the only one that has a beef with the Council. Back in the 16th century, the Council passed a law – they called it an “Edict”, but I think they were just trying to be fancy – to make our dragon forms more “human”. Their logic when they passed the Humanization Edict was that we could better integrate ourselves in human society while still in our dragon form.

The Fire Within, Part 3Sorai didn’t let me leave the house for the next three days. She spent most of her time in her room, which left me to my own devices. It’s not as if I could just leave, however, because of that stupid oath.   
Being around a bored dragon is never fun. We generally like to have a lot going on inside our mind, and when there’s nothing there to keep it occupied, things can get a little scary. Heck, those stories of dragons raiding towns and villages for virgins and gold? That’s the result of abject boredom.

It's almost been a year since I've updated this thing.

What's changed? Not much. On the roleplaying front, things have become rather dry as all the games I'm in save for one have gone on hiatus; this actually makes me worried for NaNoWriMo 2009, as most of my stories are based off previous/current games. I am, however, in a Victorianesque message board game, where I play a completely ordinary fellow in a setting that's absolutely extraordinary. *cough*

I've back in Final Fantasy XI after two long years. Level sync and Scholar are my two best friends now (figuratively speaking), and I'm having an absolute blast and want to do everything. Of course, Rapture -- I mean, Final Fantasy XIV -- will be coming out soon... don't I have all the timing?

I feel the need to promote EiffelArt's work here as he's been doing commissions for me for the last little bit. Go take a look at his gallery [link] -- it's awesome!

Hi. Um, I don't know what to write here.
